Zaha unsure over future

82403-lshWilfried Zaha has admitted he remains unsure about his future, claiming that he’d be open to a permanent return to Crystal Palace as doubts remain over his chances of making the cut at United.

Signed by Sir Alex Ferguson in January 2013 after impressing with Palace, Zaha was left on loan with the South London outfit for the remainder of the season, helping them to promotion before arriving at Old Trafford at the beginning of last season.

However, despite making a cameo appearance in the Community Shield, Zaha failed to convince David Moyes he deserved a regular starting spot and was loaned out to Cardiff before returning to Old Trafford in the summer. After featuring in a couple of pre-season games, Zaha was again loaned out, this time to Crystal Palace, after Louis Van Gaal deemed him surplus to requirements and the youngster admits he’s doubtful about where his immediate future lies.

“I don’t know, it’s something I can’t answer right now,” Zaha said.

“I am just on loan. Coming back to Palace would be great but that’s in the future so I’ll decide then. I am happy to be back and in and around family. They come to most of the games and I get to go back home and analyse games.”

The 22-year-old has scored one goal and assisted another in 15 Premier League appearances this season.
