Before this season, Martial was a good player with world class talent. Right now, he is an excellent player with world class talent.
With another 10-15 games at this level and, hopefully, the competition of the season at it, he will be seen as a world class player.
Immense!

Anthony Martial has developed so much and unfortunately his injury has prevented people from seeing it. This season he looks like a new man. A great focal point, outstanding feet and really impressive hold up play. 2 assists for him today and he thoroughly deserved a goal.

Martial made a bright beginning to the season with two goals and an assist from the opening three matches but he thereafter sustained a thigh injury which unfortunately sidelined him for more than seven weeks.
He has, however, returned to the playing field with the determination to make up for the lost time and his presence has likewise improved the performance from Rashford, who has reverted to his preferred left wing role.
Despite the positives, there is plenty of ground to cover to the top four places and hopefully, Martial can continue with his sparkling form when the Red Devils return after the international break to face Sheffield United on the road.
