Wolves vs Manchester United – Premier League Preview & Predicted Line-ups

Manchester United will travel to Molineux Stadium to face Wolverhampton Wanderers in the final game of the Premier League season on Sunday.

This game is a dead-rubber affair for the Red Devils as they have already sealed second spot in the league.

However, they will want to keep their record intact of being undefeated on the road for the whole season.

If they are able to do it, they will become just the fourth side to remain unbeaten away from home across an entire English top-flight campaign.

Wolves will be hoping to give a proper send-off to their manager Nuno Espirito Santo who will be taking charge of the club for the final time.

The club announced yesterday that Nuno will be leaving the club by mutual consent after spending four extremely successful years at the helm.

A win for them will guarantee Nuno’s side the 12th position in the League table.

Depending on the results that Crystal Palace and Southampton produce, they may drop to 14th place if they fail to grab a single point from this encounter.

Man United have lost just one of their last seven Premier League meetings with Wolves (W3, D3).

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men are in dreadful form and hardly the best option if you are watching football on tv this weekend.

They have won just one of their previous five games, least by any of the sides in the upper half of the table.

Wolves are in the midst of an equally awful stretch. They have picked up just 4 points out of the previous 15 available to them.

Wolverhampton Wanderers Team News

Raul Jimenez, Daniel Podence, Pedro Neto and Jonny won’t be a part of this game as they still nursing their injuries.

Owen Otasowie is also a huge doubt and might not be available for selection.

Manchester United Team News

Harry Maguire, Anthony Martial and Phil Jones remain sidelined for this final Premier League clash.

United will be making a trip to Gdansk as they clash with Villarreal in the Europa League final on Wednesday.

In a bid to give rest to the key players, it is expected that Solskjaer will field a youthful XI against Wolves.

The manager has already indicated that teenagers Hannibal and Shola Shoretire can be involved in the game.

Predicted Line-ups

Wolverhampton Wanderers (3-4-1-2): Rui Patricio, Leander Dendoncker, Conor Coady, Romain Saiss, Nelson Semedo, Ruben Neves, Joao Moutinho, Rayan Ait-Nouri, Vitinha Ferreira, Adama Traore, Fabio Silva.

Manchester United (4-2-3-1): Dean Henderson, Brandon Williams, Axel Tuanzebe, Eric Bailly, Alex Telles, Nemanja Matic, Donny Van De Beek, Juan Mata, Amad Diallo, Daniel James, Marcus Rashford.
