A section of Manchester United supporters have heaped praise on the showing of Axel Tuanzebe during the club’s 1-0 friendly win over Inter Milan in the International Champions Cup.
The 21-year-old was handed with a starting role alongside Victor Lindelof at the heart of the defence and he looked comfortable in possession while remaining alert over the danger around him.
Besides that, the club graduate managed to carry the ball forward from the backline rather than making rash clearances and the fans have been left impressed with his performance.
Here are a few Twitter reactions towards Tuanzebe’s showing….

Tuanzebe played no part in the recent friendly triumph against Leeds United but he was still afforded with a starting role alongside Lindelof, which represents the confidence of Solskjaer has in his ability.
The club are still likely to pursue another central defender this summer, but judging by the recent performance, Tuanzebe certainly deserves to compete for playing time rather than being loaned out elsewhere.
United have been fluent on the defensive scheme of things in pre-season and they have kept clean sheets in each of three matches while enjoying comfortable wins over the opposition.
Elsewhere, some of the young players have stepped up to the plate and Mason Greenwood, in particular, has caught the eye with his tireless workrate and urge to get the ball off the opposition.
The 17-year-old has already scored twice in three pre-season matches and that includes the winning strike against Inter shortly after coming off the substitutes’ bench.
