When is the FA Cup semi-final draw? What # are Man Utd?

Manchester United booked a place in the 2019-20 FA Cup semi-finals with a 2-1 victory after extra-time away to Norwich City on Saturday.

Harry Maguire slid home the winner in the 118th minute after the hosts had been reduced to 10 men shortly before the end of regulation.

We had originally taken the lead through Odion Ighalo’s volley shortly after half-time only for Todd Cantwell’s 25-yard strike to beat Sergio Romero with quarter-of-an-hour to play.

Arsenal joined us in the hat for the semi-final draw this afternoon with a dramatic 2-1 victory away to Sheffield United.

Later today, Leicester City host Chelsea and Manchester City travel to Newcastle United with the final two spots up for grabs. There are no replays from this point onwards in the competition.

The draw for the final four will take place at the half-time of this evening’s match at St James’ Park between Newcastle United and Manchester City. With the game scheduled to kick-off at 18:30 GMT it means the semi-final draw will take place just after 19:15 GMT.

What are the numbers of the balls?

Alan Shearer will draw all four names out of the hat this evening with both semi-finals to take place at Wembley Stadium on the weekend of 18-19 July.

The numbers for each team are as follows:

1 = Arsenal
2 = Newcastle United or Manchester City
3 = Manchester United
4 = Leicester City or Chelsea

Manchester United had been scheduled to host West Ham United in our penultimate Premier League game that weekend. That fixture will now need to be rescheduled, which will likely be the following midweek as we are in action every weekend and midweek between now and then.
