A section of the Manchester United fans believe Paul Pogba should be sold by the club with the Frenchman yet to show any intention of putting pen-to-paper on a new long-term contract.
The France international currently has less than two years remaining on his existing deal with the Red Devils but the club have the option of prolonging his stay for another 12 months through a clause on the contract.
A recent report from Evening Standard has claimed that United will seek to negotiate a fresh deal with the midfielder and the failure to find an agreement could witness the departure of the 26-year-old next summer.
In response to this story, there has been a mixed reaction from the supporters and a section of the faithful believe the club should consider Pogba’s sale, if his contract standoff persists for the entire season.

I think d biggest mistake Man United made over the summer was not selling Pogba and De gea. If they've been sold would av gotten good money to continue d rebuilding process. This guys made it clear, dey don't want to be here, why forcing dem to stay. Are dey bigger than d club?

Earlier in June, Pogba acknowledged that he could pursue a new challenge away from Old Trafford but that did not necessarily pave the way for his departure after the Red Devils turned down an approach from Real Madrid prior to the English transfer deadline.
Pogba has since produced a mixed bag of performances in the new Premier League season and Evening Standard suggests that the midfielder has made his mind up to join Zinedine Zidane’s side at the end of the campaign.
While United are under no pressure to sell at the current point of time, they will certainly consider the choice next summer, given the midfielder’s transfer value would significantly reduce when he enters the final 12 months of his deal.
