Manchester United extended their lead over Arsenal in the Premier League to seven points with a 3-1 win at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.
The result leaves us five points behind leaders Manchester City who are still to host West Ham United this weekend.
Arsenal dominated possession and territory but despite their 33 efforts on goal during the 90 minutes, only managed to beat the inspired David de Gea on one occasion.
Despite two goals from Jesse Lingard, the Spanish goalkeeper put in a man of the match performance between the sticks.
In all, de Gea made 14 saves at the Emirates on Saturday. This included some World Class stops, first to deny Alexandre Lacazette from close range early on. He later reacted quickly to prevent Romelu Lukaku from scoring an own goal. Then our goalkeeper made a stunning double save, first denying Alexandre Lacazette at his near post, and then somehow keeping Alexis Sanchez’s close range rebound out with his leg.
