Vidal admits United interest

Arturo-Vidal-Juventus-Champions-League_2890955Arturo Vidal has admitted he’s aware of Manchester United’s interest but has confirmed his future remains uncertain at the moment, which will presumably opening the door to more speculation on the Chilean star’s plans.

Vidal’s performances for Juventus and Chile have attracted interest from a host of European clubs, with United thought to be the frontrunners in the race for the 27-year-old midfielder, despite repeatedly insisting that Vidal is not on the club’s radar and despite Juventus being adamant that Vidal will not leave Turin this summer.

The Chilean, however, has admitted that he’s aware of interest from both United and Real Madrid.

“I’ve heard of interest from Real [Madrid], from [Manchester] United, but that’s for someone else to worry about,” Vidal told Chilean newspaper La Cuarta.

“It’s difficult to talk about another team when you already play for a big one.

“I have run out champions three times here, I have respect for my teammates.”

Vidal, however, did not rule out the opportunity to remain a Juventus, club with which he’s won three Serie A titles in as many years, since leaving Bayer Leverkusen.

“Perhaps I will stay the rest of my life at Juventus. When I arrive in Italy, I’ll talk with the coach and we’ll see what happens.

“Right now the only thing I know is that I have seven or eight days of holiday left.”
