Manchester United are the third-most valuable football club in the world, according to American business magazine Forbes.
United are third in the top 20 list, behind Real Madrid, who have been named the most valuable team for the third year running ahead of arch-rivals Barcelona.
The two Spanish giants are valued at £2.13bn and £2.07bn respectively, while United are valued at£2.03bn, 10% higher than 12 months ago, following the introduction of a sponsorship deal with Chevrolet which is reportedly worth £53m per season.
United could see their value rocket even further next season once their new kit deal with Adidas, worth £75m per season, kicks in.
Here’s hoping United will soon close the gap on the pitch as well.
