Manchester United have agreed a season-long deal for Monaco striker Radamel Falcao, subject to the Colombian passing a medical at Carrington later on Monday.
According to Sky Sports, the deal for the former Atletico Madrid centre-forward includes the option of United signing the 28-year-old, who missed out on the World Cup in the summer after suffering a serious knee injury last season.
Falcao was on the radar of a host of European clubs, including Real Madrid, Juventus, Arsenal and Manchester City but United look to have won the race to the Colombian.
