Former Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher’s twin sons Jack and Tyler have signed their first professional contracts with the club.
The two teenagers joined the Red Devils last year from rivals Manchester City and have impressed with their performances for the Under-18s side.
Jack has made five appearances in the U18 Premier League, bagging a goal and two assists. He has also trained with the club’s senior squad.
Tyler has made five appearances across all competitions but has yet to register a goal contribution.
Their development has been rewarded with their first professional contracts at United. Fabrizio Romano confirmed the news on social media platform X.
The two youngsters can draw huge inspiration from their father, who was successful at Old Trafford between 2003 and 2015.
He graduated from United’s academy and subsequently made 342 senior appearances for the club, scoring 24 goals.
He helped the Red Devils lift five Premier League trophies as well as the Champions League, FA Cup and League Cup.
Fletcher returned to Old Trafford in 2020 to take a coaching role at the club. and is currently serving as their technical director.
