Tottenham Hotspur dealt injury blow ahead of Europa League final vs Manchester United as Dejan Kulusevski gets injured

Manchester United play Tottenham Hotspur in the final of the Europa League on May 21, and Spurs have suffered another huge injury, which could affect their chances against the Red Devils.

The North Londoners are already without James Maddison and Lucas Bergvall for the Europa League final due to injuries, and Dejan Kulusevski has joined them after picking up a knock against Crystal Palace today.

Spurs manager Ange Postecoglou tried to play down the severity of the blow after the game, but the fact that the Swede could not continue the game speaks volumes, and he could be unavailable against Man United from the look of things.

There are just ten days left before both teams meet in Spain, and their respective performances today left little to be desired.

The Red Devils lost 2-0 to West Ham United at Old Trafford, while Spurs also suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Palace at home.

Man United also have their own injury woes after Leny Yoro was taken off against the Hammers in the first-half, but head coach Ruben Amorim has enough options at the back having called upon Harry Maguire to replace the Frenchman.

The Red Devils have lost thrice to Tottenham this term and will hope to get the better of them in their next meeting.

They have not covered themselves in glory domestically but are unbeaten on the continent and will fancy their chances of getting the job against Spurs.

Tottenham have equally been poor in the Premier League campaign having lost 20 times compared to Man United’s 18, and not many would bet against Amorim and his men getting the upper hand given their superb European form.

A huge monetary reward and a spot in the league phase of the Champions League next season are at stake when both teams meet, and the Red Devils have to give their all and ensure they return to England with the trophy after disappointing in the Premier League, Carabao Cup and FA Cup.
