Interestingly, McBurnie has scored twice in four league games against United, further highlighting the threat he poses ahead of Saturday’s showdown.
Ryan Giles
Giles, described as ‘very fast‘ by Hull manager Sergej Jakirovic provides creativity from the flanks for the hosts.
He registered more assists, big chances created and key passes per game in Hull’s squad. His recorded top speed of 36.0 km/h was also the joint-highest among the newly promoted side’s players.
That said, he is defensively vulnerable and often loses the ball due to his attack-minded approach. United could look to exploit his weaknesses.
Nobel Mendy
Mendy joined Jakirovic’s side this summer in a club-record deal from Spanish side Rayo Vallecano.
The Senegal international is a quick, strong defender who is adept at covering large spaces, maintaining positional awareness, winning tackles, and playing the ball out of the back.
Mendy is expected to start alongside Semi Ajayi as the hosts’ centre-back pairing.
