A selection of Manchester United fans have expressed their delight after midfielder Bruno Fernandes was named as the Premier League’s Player of the Month for February.
The Portuguese has been in impressive form since his mid-season move from Sporting and he has been heavily involved in the club’s proceedings in the final third of the pitch.
For the month of February, Fernandes registered one goal and two assists in the top-flight and that earned him the league’s Player of the Month award after he garnered the highest number of votes.
Meanwhile, the 25-year-old was also the PFA and Manchester United’s Player of the Month and this has brought about a positive reaction from some of the supporters on Twitter.

“Bruno is overrated, has inflated stats and plays in a farmer's league. He won't be anywhere near as good in the Premier League.”

Fernandes may have won the Premier League player of the month award, which was thoroughly deserved. His third personal award in his short time here.
But really hope that Fred picks up the Utd player of the season award.

Fernandes’ presence has definitely improved the creativity in the final third and there has been an improvement on the service to the club’s forwards compared to the first half of the campaign.
The season is currently halted due to the health concerns due to the Covid-19 virus but United fans will be hoping that the campaign resumes at the earliest with a Champions League berth at stake.
Paul Pogba is likely to make his comeback after his ankle surgery in the near future, and his potential partnership alongside Fernandes could be relishing to watch in the final months of the season.
