A large section of the Manchester United fans are undoubtedly delighted following a top defensive performance from Aaron Wan-Bissaka against Manchester City on the road.
The Red Devils carried on from their 2-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur with another victory at the Etihad Stadium by the similar scoreline and they produced a splendid defensive display with no letdowns.
Still, there has been an overwhelming praise for Wan-Bissaka, in particular, after he kept Raheem Sterling out from having a sight on goal for nearly the entirety of the Premier League clash.
Barring the one early mistake, Wan-Bissaka comfortably dealt with Sterling on the day and he ended the game with five successful tackles, which was the most made by any player in the derby.
Wan-Bissaka was outmuscled by Nicolas Otamendi towards the end for a late consolation goal but that was probably justified by the fact he was running out of steam in the closing stages of the game.
That, however, does not matter with the victory eventually sealed and a number of the club’s faithful have hailed the right-back, who has been one of the most consistent players in the defensive point of view.

Raheem Sterling is world class.. Wan Bissaka is dealing with him easily, expertly.
When do we start talking about Wan Bissaka as a top top class right back. His job? He does brilliantly.. He Just isn't as good at the extras as the ones that aren't brilliant at their jobs

Wan Bissaka that game was something else. Best defensive right back in the world right in my view. Comfortably MOTM, no one could get past him! #mufc

United have managed to register back-to-back wins over Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City, who both finished in the top four last season and that should enhance the confidence of the squad after an indifferent start to the campaign.
Solskjaer’s side are presently within five points off Chelsea, who hold the final Champions League spot. Next up, they have a Europa League group stage clash against AZ Alkmaar at Old Trafford and most of the regulars should be rested with the round of 32 qualification already sealed in the competition.
