Bastian Schweinsteiger hailed Manchester United fans as “unbelievable” after the travelling fans generated a rousing atmosphere at Goodison Park on Saturday.
United clinched their first win away at Everton in four years, as goals from Morgan Schneiderlin, Ander Herrera and Wayne Rooney kept them two points behind league leaders City ahead of next week’s derby.
“Received this video from a good friend. The fan support was unbelievable yesterday – as always!” Schweinsteiger wrote on Twitter, sharing a video of United fans chanting in the concourse at half-time.

His words were echoed by Ander Herrera, who revealed he wants to join the travelling Reds one day.
“I want to go to an away game with our fans one day, they’re unbelievable,” he said.
