Manchester United have been credited with a transfer interest in Juventus defender Gleison Bremer over the past few weeks.
The 27-year-old has earned rave reviews since joining the Old Lady in July 2022. He has started 34 Serie A matches and scored three goals.
United will be looking to bring in a top-quality centre-back, and they have reportedly identified Bremer as an ideal option.
The release clause in his contract will become active in the summer of 2025.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Brazilian’s agents have a verbal agreement with Juventus to allow him to leave this summer if they receive an offer of around €55-60 million.
The transfer budget at Old Trafford is expected to be tight, and the club will look to sell players to raise funds for new recruits.
The Red Devils are reportedly prepared to sell most of their first-team players, with only Kobbie Mainoo, Alejandro Garnacho and Rasmus Hojlund strictly off-limits.
However, manager Erik Ten Hag denied those claims in his press conference, labelling the reports as ‘a joke’.
