Manchester United are reportedly planning to raid Barcelona this summer with Ousmane Dembele, Arturo Vidal, Ivan Rakitic and Samuel Umtiti all on their wishlist. United’s No 1 target is Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho but a deal has stalled with the two clubs still at loggerheads over the fee.
Dembele would be a like-for-like alternative to Sancho and may be a cheaper option with Barcelona ready to sell him after he endured another underwhelming season in Spain.

Umtiti, meanwhile, has been a regular in Barcelona’s team but has been blighted by persistent knee problems for the last two seasons and now faces an uncertain future.
Rakitic told United he has no interest in joining the club back in January but Solskjaer is set to revive his interest in him, while Vidal only has one year left on his deal and is likely to depart for a reasonable fee.
Manchester United is looking forward to rebuilding their squad this summer and adding depth into their ranks has been a priority for the club after their semi-final exits in three competitions this season.
The club’s ambition to close down the gap with Liverpool and Manchester City is going to need some quality additions and these four players look to be a part of the process.
