A selection of Manchester United fans have reacted positively to the performance of Bruno Fernandes in the 2-0 Premier League win over Chelsea on the road.
The Portuguese had a decent home debut against Wolverhampton Wanderers prior to the winter break where he played in both the attacking and central midfield positions.
However, against Chelsea, Fernandes managed to play nearly the entire game from the number 10 spot and he provided a wonderful cross from a corner which contributed to Harry Maguire’s goal in the second half.
Prior to that, the club’s January signing hit the woodwork with his freekick and some fans were certainly pleased with the overall display from the 25-year-old playmaker.
As per whoscored, Fernandes provided three key passes and he was also impressive in the defensive point of view with two tackles, one interception and one clearance.
Here are some of the fan reactions on Twitter over his display…

Fernandes’ arrival has provided United with quality distribution from set-pieces and his first assist in the United shirt contributed to Maguire scoring his first-ever Premier League goal for the team.
With the 2-0 win over Frank Lampard’s side, United have moved within two points off the Champions League positions and manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be hoping that the club can string multiple wins together.
United will host Watford in their next Premier League game on Sunday. Prior to that, they will make the trip to Belgium to face Club Brugge in the first leg of the Europa League round of 32 tie.
