PSG have reached an agreement in principle with Manchester United forward Jadon Sancho

Paris Saint-Germain have reached an agreement in principle with Manchester United attacking midfielder Jadon Sancho, according to French outlet Sports Zone.

The Red Devils want €60 million for the England international, who recently reconciled with manager Erik ten Hag after a fallout that saw him temporarily leave for Borussia Dortmund last season.

Despite this, Man United remain keen on selling Sancho despite the development, and PSG are huge admirers.

However, the 24-year-old is not on top of their transfer wishlist for this summer and is not their number one priority as far as bolstering their attack goes, with the Ligue 1 club exploring other options.

Having fallen out of favour last term and spending the second half of the campaign on loan with Dortmund, Man United resolved to sell Sancho this summer as it appeared he had no plans to patch things up with the Dutchman.

He is currently on tour with the rest of the first team in their pre-season tour of the United States, featuring for 45 minutes in their 2-1 loss to Arsenal earlier today.

Sancho also featured in the friendly against Rangers last weekend and is expected to play when the Red Devils take on Real Betis on Thursday and Liverpool on Sunday.

Man United face Manchester City in the Community Shield on August 10 before playing Fulham six days later at Old Trafford in their Premier League opener for 2024-25.

Sancho could have been sold by then if an agreement is reached with PSG.

The attacker proved his quality again with Dortmund last season, helping them reach the final of the Champions League and attracting suitors.

A move to PSG to replace Kylian Mbappe could appeal to him, but the French club could have reservations over parting with €60m for him despite his quality.
