Predicted Manchester United XI against Sheffield United

Manchester United will travel to South Yorkshire this week to take on the struggling Sheffield United.

The Red Devils suffered a disappointing 0-0 draw in the recent Manchester Derby at Old Trafford, with both City and United adopting a more defensive approach that made it a less spectacular affair.

However, the fans will now be hoping for more fireworks from United against the current worst team in the Premier League.

Chris Wilder’s side have earned only one point in twelve matches this season, losing an incredible eleven games and drawing only once.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has a few injury concerns as he aims to claim an encouraging league victory after the huge disappointment in the Champions League against RB Leipzig.

Edinson Cavani missed out on the match against City and it is uncertain whether he has fully recovered from the muscle injury and will be featured in the Bramall Lane encounter.

It looks safe to say that Mason Greenwood, Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford will lead the line against the Blades, while centre-back Phil Jones will remain out of contention due to a muscle concern.

Fred was impressive in the recent Old Trafford game and he could be partnered with Donny van de Beek after the two gave a strong performance against Southampton earlier this month.

Dean Henderson will be hoping that he gets a chance to impress in goal, but David de Gea is still expected to keep his spot.

Predicted XI: De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Lindelöf, Maguire, Telles; Fred, Van de Beek; Greenwood, Fernandes, Rashford; Martial
