Predicted Man Utd line-up vs West Ham, Eriksen and Sancho start

Manchester United travel to the London Stadium for this evening’s Premier League clash against West Ham United.

The Red Devils have dropped five points from their last three league games but they are still in pole position to finish in the top four.

The club are currently fourth in the table with 63 points, one ahead of Liverpool with two games in hand.

They will be aiming for a sixth straight league win over the Hammers in today’s late league kick-off.

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Predicted Line-up:

David de Gea has had another fine top-flight campaign, keeping 15 clean sheets. He was superb in goal against the Seagulls and was unfortunate to concede via a penalty in the final minute of stoppage time. The Spaniard will be aiming for another shut-out.

In defence, Erik ten Hag could stick with the same back four from the 1-0 loss. Aaron Wan-Bissaka was superb in negating the threat of Kaoru Mitoma and should continue in the right-back position.

With Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane sidelined, Victor Lindelof and Luke Shaw are expected to continue at the heart of the defence with Diogo Dalot likely to retain his spot at left-back.

Casemiro was partnered by compatriot Fred in midfield in midweek but Ten Hag is likely to reinstate Christian Eriksen into the line-up. Fred should make way for the Dane in the number eight position.

Further forward, we anticipate a solitary change. Anthony Martial was poor leading the line against Brighton. He won just 28 per cent of his duels and lost possession on nine occasions.

Instead of playing Wout Weghorst up front, we could see Marcus Rashford lead the attack again.

Jadon Sancho is likely to start on the left wing as a result. Alejandro Garnacho could be fit after his injury lay-off and he could come off the bench to replace the England international.

Elsewhere, Bruno Fernandes should start in his customary number 10 role with Antony on the right wing. The Brazilian has not scored or assisted in five games and has a point to prove today.
