Manchester United face Sevilla in the second leg of the Europa League quarter-final tie tonight.
The Red Devils played out a 2-2 draw against the Andalusian outfit at Old Trafford last week. They raced into a comfortable 2-0 lead but squandered the advantage with two late own goals.
Erik ten Hag will be eyeing a better response at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan. The club have received a huge boost with the return of four injured stars including top-scorer Marcus Rashford.
Formation: 4-2-3-1
Predicted Line-up:
David de Gea has been exceptional between the sticks this term and he registered his 21st clean sheet of the campaign on Sunday. Ten Hag is clearly happy with the Spaniard and recently praised him as a ‘really complete‘ goalkeeper. He is expected to start.
In defence, there could be a solitary change from the 2-0 win at Nottingham Forest. With Luke Shaw fit after his hamstring injury, he should replace Diogo Dalot at left-back. Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof should retain their places in the backline.
Casemiro is an undisputed starter from the number six role when available for selection. The Brazilian is expected to start alongside Christian Eriksen. The Dane made his first start since his ankle injury last weekend and should retain his number eight position.
With Bruno Fernandes suspended, Marcel Sabitzer is set to reclaim the number 10 role. The Austrian was brilliant with a brace in the first leg at Old Trafford. The Austrian is certainly giving his best to secure a permanent transfer from Bayern Munich this summer.
Rashford has been a revelation for United with a stunning 38 goal contributions this season. The Englishman’s return is a huge boost ahead of the second leg. He is expected to start on the left wing with Antony featuring on the opposite flank.
Antony probably had his best game of the campaign against Forest. He opened the scoring before providing an intelligent assist for Dalot. The Brazilian was lively with his movement and now needs to be consistent with his displays.
Up front, Anthony Martial is set to lead the line for the third game running. The Frenchman delivered a brilliant through ball for Sabitzer’s second goal last week. Hopefully, the 27-year-old will find the back of the net this time around.
