Manchester United are surrounded by financial troubles and a recent report suggests that United could have to dig a bigger hole inside their pockets.
As per CM Sport, United need to pay €27m to Porto. 10% goes to Telles’ former club Galatasaray and 15% to Telles agent Pini Zahavi and Jorge Mendes for facilitating operations.
Fabrizio Romano earlier claimed that United need to pay €20m for Telles. However, there is a €7m hidden which United need to pay to other parties involved.
Yesterday, Telegraph reported a transfer fee is yet to be agreed upon. Telles’ release clause stands at €40m. His contract expires in less than ten months and Porto want to make some profits out of his sale.
Telles was involved in 25 goals last season and managed to keep 20 clean sheets. He is the perfect mix of offense and defense and fits into Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s plans like a glove.
United were previously linked to Ben Chilwell and Sergio Reguilon but lost the players to Chelsea ans Spurs respectively.
Other left-back links include Rayan Ait Nouri and Nicolas Tagliafico.
