Why United would need another defender is anyone’s guess, but the tabloid believes that with Rio Ferdinand turning 35 and Phil Jones and Chris Smalling too injury prone, David Moyes sees the 26-year-old Argentinian as the perfect addition to his back four.

The Star also reports that Nani is set to decide his future this weekend, but he’s likely to quit the club after six seasons, with Juventus, PSG, Benfica and his former club Sporting Lisbon reportedly interested in the Portuguese winger.
