Ole Gunnar Solskjaer demands ‘unreserved apology’ from a media channel

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has demanded an ‘unreserved apology’ from a Norwegian media channel, namely TV2 Sport, as told by the channel’s Chief Editor of Sport.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer used to mange Molde FK before joining Manchester United as their interim manager at first and eventually their permanent boss.

During Solskjaer’s time at the Norwegian club, he signed a player named Babacar Sarr.

Although it’s an unknown fact that whether Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had the knowledge of the past stories regarding the Senegalese international or not, Babacar Sarr was an individual being accused of involving in six rape cases.

And the accusation on Solskjaer was that despite knowing everything, he went on to sign the respective player.

Amid all these incidents, a Norwegian media channel in TV2 Sport covered the story extensively and held up a messy picture of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in front of their global audience.

The whole scenario eventually diminished Solskjaer’s reputation in the eyes of his admirers.

Speaking in an interview with VG, Vegard Jansen Hage, TV2 Sport’s Chief Editor of Sport, revealed that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had refused to give them any sort of interview with the particular channel, clarifying he is demanding a public apology from their media house.

He claimed,

“He (Solskjaer) will not appear for an interview with TV 2’s journalists. He answers in English in joint sessions, but he does not give interviews to us on the field, in the interview zone, in the player tunnel or in other interview settings”.

Whether Solskjaer gets an apology or not remains to be seen.

Though, life is going good for the Norwegian as his team recently defeated Paris Saint-Germain with a 2-1 scoreline in their own backyard convincingly.
