Ole Gunnar Solskjaer asks Ed Woodward to fix the €120m Jadon Sancho deal

Manchester United’s criteria for success in the summer transfer window has hinged on completing the deal for only one big player.

That player is Jadon Sancho.

Manchester United have been looking to sign the Dortmund superstar for the major duration of this window and have been blocked at every turn by the German club.

The move had officially stalled, with Dortmund managing director announcing Sancho’s stay at the club for another season. United’s pursuit of the winger has found a new lease of life.

United know that Dortmund’s asking price is €120m. Earlier today, Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Sancho’s agent fees are not an issue.

This report is further corraborated by Norwegian journalist Fredrik A. N. Filtvedt.

He states that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has already spoken to Sancho many times. He further adds that the winger wants to leave and Solskjaer has ordered Ed Woodward to fix up the transfer saga elongating it for over a month. The faster Sancho arrives, the better United would be prepared.

Reliable transfer journalist Jan Aage Fjortoft confirmed it by retweeting it.

United have already agreed to personal terms with Sancho before and the players wants to move to Old Trafford too.

The arrival of Donny Van De Beek does plug a hole in the squad, but the signing of Sancho could be the boost United need to challenge on all fronts again. The Norwegian boss has less than two years left on his contract and the pressure on him to deliver is immense.

The new season is about to start in the second week of September and United should be motivated to complete the deal for the Dortmund superstar before that.
