Ole Confirms 4 injuries for Man Utd vs Wolves + Lindelof update

Manchester United will be without four first team players when we travel to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Tuesday.

Our 2-1 victory over Watford on Saturday moved us level on points with Tottenham Hotspur, but we are only one point above Arsenal and Chelsea as the four of us battle it out for the final two Champions League places.

Wolves are having an excellent first season back in the Premier League, in seventh position despite being beaten 2-0 at Burnley over the weekend.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference today, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed he has a couple of injuries to deal with heading to Molineux.

The Norwegian confirmed that Eric Bailly, Antonio Valencia, Alexis Sanchez and Matteo Darmian will all miss out again through injury just as they did on Saturday in what was Ole’s first game in charge after signing a three-year deal as manager last week.

However, the boss said that Victor Lindelof has been back in training and should be ready to face Wolves tomorrow.

Solskjaer told MUTV:

“Victor has had a good few days of training now so he’ll be ready. Apart from that, [Matteo] Darmian and Eric [Bailly] are still out. [Antonio] Valencia is still out and Alexis Sanchez is still out. But it’s a good strong squad.”

Further positive news is that both Anthony Martial and Romelu Lukaku are both fit for tomorrow’s trip having only just returned from injuries over the weekend. Ole added:

“Anthony and Romelu will both be ready for tomorrow, definitely, unless they break down in training today [Monday] but it looks good, yeah.”
