Wolverhampton Wanderers have completed the signing of Manchester United target Rayat Ait Nouri.
The 19-year-old left-back arrives at Molineux on a season-long loan with an option to make the switch permanent.
He joins from French side Angers.
Ait Nouri was a target for Premier League sides Crystal Palace and Manchester United.
According to a report by Get French Football News, Portuguese superagent Jorge Mendes sought to place 19-year-old French youth international left-back Rayan Aït Nouri at Manchester United.
But, United’s concerns over Ait Nouri’s lack of European experience, not being a definite upgrade to their current squad members put a stop to this move.
United have found it hard to sign a left-back this summer.
They lost their targets Ben Chilwell and Sergio Reguilon to EPL rivals Chelsea and Tottenham respectively.
They seem to have found their man in Porto LB Alex Telles.
Italian transfer mogul Fabrizio Romano has stated that a deal for the Brazilian is close to completion.
Nouri is not the first United target Wolves have signed this season.
They also added Right-Back Nelson Semedo from Barcelona to their squad.
