Napoli ace Kim Min-jae moves out of his house, expected to join Man Utd after military training

Napoli centre-back Kim Min-jae said goodbye to his teammates on Sunday and collected farewell jerseys, reports Il Mattino.

The 26-year-old also did a farewell lap with his family and left the city of Naples on Monday ahead of a potential move to Manchester United.

Min-Jae moved out of his house yesterday, parking all of his belongings.

The South Korean international is heading for his country for mandatory military training.

The service will last three weeks, after which he is expected to join the Red Devils.

Man United are ready to trigger his €60 million release clause and are willing to offer him wages of around €7m-per-year.

Min-jae is ready to say ‘yes’ to the Old Trafford club, with talks ongoing with his agent.

His release clause can be activated between July 1 and July 15, so Man United must move quickly.

However, they will have to wait until much later to have him available for a medical and contract signing.

The Napoli ace will be unavailable until after his 21-day military training.

He will participate in refining his fighting skills and medical training.

Min-jae will also take part in chemical, biological and radiological training.

Man United manager Erik ten Hag wants a centre-back and is keen on the Korean.

The former Fenerbahce emerged as the best Serie A defender of the season after helping Napoli to the title.

Min-jae made 35 league appearances, weighing in with two goals and two assists.

The ball-playing giant was one of the best defenders in Europe this term and is capable of improving the Red Devils’ defence.

Bolstering their backline with such a quality player will help boost their chances of challenging for silverware.
