Mary Earps look destined to leave Manchester United after joining new agency

Nike confirm Mary Earps will be sold in 'limited quantities' after fans backlash

Manchester United goalkeeper Mary Earps has joined a new agency A&V Sports ahead of what is expected to be a huge January transfer window.

The 30-year-old ended her association with Ignite Talent towards the end of last year and has now joined A&V Sports, a top agency who are already working with Sam Kerr and Ada Hegerberg.

The England international’s latest move will likely increase the speculation regarding her future at United.

Earps, who was named BBC Sports Personality of the Year last month, has only six months left on her current contract. She is free to talk with clubs outside the Women’s Super League.

According to the Daily Mail, Paris Saint-Germain are interested in the experienced goalkeeper.

Arsenal have also been linked but they are reportedly not looking to make an offer in January. They are eyeing a summer deal when she will be available as a free agent.

United could sign Roebuck

The Red Devils brought in Phallon Tullis-Joyce last summer, but they could also make a move for Manchester City’s Ellie Roebuck due to Earps’ uncertain situation.

Roebuck has endured a difficult time at City this season.

She was the Citizens’ first-choice keeper last term but has fallen down the pecking order and is now struggling for game time.

United would love to keep Earps, but she is intent on leaving the club.

The Red Devils could sign Roebuck, who is still young and has plenty of potential.

She played in 17 Super League matches in 2022-23, keeping five clean sheets.

Roebuck is desperate for more game time, and she could get that at United.
