Marouane Fellaini limped off after only 29 minutes in Belgium’s 4-3 win in Bosnia and Herzegovina yesterday.
The Red Devils were leading 1-0 at the time but conceded an equaliser within two minutes of the Manchester United star being replaced by Leander Dendoncker.
Belgium manager Roberto Martinez initially feared that Fellaini could have suffered ligament damage in his left knee which would have left the 29-year-old on the sidelines for some time.
However, Sky Sports have today reported that Marouane Fellaini is likely only going to be out of action foe two weeks.

This gives us some relief with Paul Pogba and Michael Carrick already on the sidelines. However, it does leave Jose Mourinho with only Nemanja Matic, Ander Herrera and Scott McTominay as options in central midfield for next weekend’s trip to Liverpool.
A two-week absence means that Fellaini would also miss the trip to Benfica in the Champions League, and Huddersfield in the Premier League, but could make his return in either the EFL Cup tie versus Swansea City on 24 October or the Premier League game at home to Tottenham Hotspur at the end of the month.
Marouane Fellaini has started our last three Premier League games since Pogba picked up a hamstring injury and has made six appearances in the top flight in all – winning on each occasion. The only league game the Belgian missed was our 2-2 draw at Stoke City – the only gave we’ve dropped points and conceded goals in so far this season. Fellaini has played 421 minutes in all competitions for us this season and not conceded a single goal.
