AC Milan are not giving up an option to sign Manchester United target Boubakary Soumare. As per Calciomerato, Milan have scouted Soumare for a while and are convinced of his quality. They’ve had a €35m bid rejected for him in the past.
The 21-year-old midfielder is a hot prospect – available on the transfer market. Lille wants to sell him. Earlier this year, in January, Soumare was allowed to leave the club. Sky Sports reported that Soumare was waiting for an offer from either Liverpool or Man United. He also rejected offers from Newcastle United and Wolves earlier. United signed their top target Bruno Fernandes after negotiating for him for almost more than a year.
Soumare didn’t secure a move in January. COVID-19 hit the clubs’ finances and there were almost no new news of him moving until Lille president Gerard Lopez confirmed that he will undoubtedly leave France last month.
Soumare rejected offers from clubs and wants to leave Lille but is waiting for an offer from either United or Liverpool. Back in April, reports claimed that Jurgen Klopp loves the midfielder and wants to sign him.
As per French media publication Telefoot, two Italian clubs Inter and Napoli made a last-ditch attempt to hijack Manchester United target Boubakary Soumare too. However, nothing panned out.
