Manchester United are eager to extend the contracts of Amad Diallo and Facundo Pellistri as they are considered future stars of the club.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano has revealed that the 20-time Premier League champions have long-term plans for the two starlets.
On his YouTube channel, he said: “Man United are in advanced talks to extend Facundo Pellistri’s contract until 2028.
“They want to give him a new long-term deal and then discuss in the summer over the potential loan move. United trust Pellistri for the future.
“Amad Diallo’s biggest dream is to get a chance in Man United’s first team.
“The idea of Erik ten Hag is to test Diallo in the pre-season tour after a successful loan spell at Sunderland.
“United will have discussions with Diallo’s representatives in the coming months over a new deal.
“They want to guarantee both players a long-term contract and be a part of the Man United project.”
Amad Diallo and Facundo Pellistri could evolve into superstars
Amad has had a stunning loan season for Sunderland, bagging 14 goals and four assists in 43 appearances.
His dazzling performances and sensational goals have established him as one of the hottest talents in the country.
Pellistri has seen 274 minutes of action spread across ten appearances this season. Despite less playing time, he has received a plethora of praise from both United supporters and Ten Hag.
His cameos have shown that the 21-year-old is a top talent with great potential. The Red Devils want to extend his contract and possibly send him out on loan next season.
They will expect Pellistri to make a name for himself as Amad has done at the Stadium of Light.
The future looks bright for both young wingers, and they could be a big part of United in the future.
