Manchester United are interested in recruiting the services of AC Milan teenage striking sensation Francesco Camarda, according to Italian outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport.
However, they face stiff competition from Manchester City, while Borussia Dortmund have been scouting the 16-year-old.
Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are also keen on bringing Camarda to the Premier League and have regularly sent representatives to see him in action.
The Milan wonderkid became the youngest Serie A footballer ever aged 15 years and 260 days when he made his debut last November.
Camarda has made just two senior appearances for the Italian giants, but his goalscoring heroics at youth level have sparked plenty of interest.
The Italy youth international has bagged 12 goals in 29 matches for their under-19s this term, and Man United think that landing him now could save them millions in the future.
He has yet to accept the offer of a professional contract from Milan having become eligible to sign one after turning 16. They have already prepared a three-year deal which he can sign in June.
Camarda scored 22 goals in 24 games for their under-15s, leading them to the under-15 Scudetto title in 2022.
He has bagged 485 goals in 89 matches for their academy and also impressed after making his UEFA Youth League debut against Newcastle United last September.
The teenager scored a brace in a 4-0 win to become the second-youngest player to achieve the feat in the tournament and the youngest-ever Italian goalscorer at 15 years and 193 days.
Camarda has been tipped to replicate his prolific form at youth level at senior level, and Man United will not want to miss out on the striking sensation after rejecting the chance to sign Erling Braut Haaland as a teenager.
