Manchester United will face Crystal Palace in the Premier League this weekend aiming to cement their place in the top four.
United are playing well at the moment, most recently securing a place in the Carabao Cup final, and will now return to league duties.
Palace have had mixed results this season but continue to push for the top half of the table.
The Red Devils were held to a 1-1 draw in the reverse fixture last month and will be looking to pick up maximum points this time around.
When and where will the game take place?
United will play their third straight game at Old Trafford when they take on the Eagles.
The game is set to be played on Saturday afternoon as one of seven games slated for the day.
Match Preview
Manchester United
United were beaten 3-2 by league leaders Arsenal last time out in the league but enjoyed better luck in the domestic cups after that.
A 3-1 win over Reading sandwiched between 3-0 and 2-0 wins over Nottingham Forest has propelled Erik ten Hag’s men to the fifth round of the FA Cup and final of the Carabao Cup respectively.
They will now be looking to carry that momentum into their league assignments but will be without the services of Christian Eriksen as the midfielder has been ruled out for at least three months.
Marcel Sabitzer could make his debut on Saturday, albeit from the bench, while Jadon Sancho and Anthony Martial have also returned to action and should be in the squad.
Crystal Palace
Palace have had their struggles this season but managed positive results over the last two game weeks.
They held Man United and Newcastle United to goalless draws on home turf and will now hope for similar luck on the road.
However, the Eagles will be without the services of star forward Wilfried Zaha when they head to Old Trafford as the 30-year-old is out with an injury.
Central defender Joachim Andersen could also miss out, but new signings Naouirou Ahamada and Albert Sambi Lokonga could make their debuts on Saturday.
Players to watch – Shaw vs Olise
Ten Hag fielded a strong XI in the cup game on Wednesday and will do the same this weekend.
Luke Shaw has performed strongly for United this season. The left-back made his return from illness against Forest last time out and will likely retain his spot in the team on Saturday.
Michael Olise has been one of Palace’s better performers this season. The 21-year-old scored a late freekick to deny United all three points in the reverse fixture and will hope to have an impact at Old Trafford.
