Manchester United urged to sign Luis Suarez

Brighton striker Glenn Murray urged Manchester United to sign Barcelona superstar Luis Suarez.

While talking to talkSPORT Breakfast, Murray said: “I think Martial is good enough to be part of that front three”.

“I don’t think Solskjaer wants somebody to lead the line; I think he wants a more interchangeable three that when the play breaks down the three strikers he picks are comfortable anywhere.

He added: “Saying that, I do think that with Martial and Rashford at either side, a pure goalscorer in the middle would benefit Manchester united massively. “Someone that springs to mind who I think would thrive in this team is someone like Van Nistelrooy”.

“If you’re talking about bringing someone into Manchester United to do that, to score the goals and take the pressure off that three, I would say someone like Jimenez.

“Or, a curveball, Luis Suarez from Barcelona.”

According to Murray, Suarez can be the missing piece for this Manchester United side.

Luis Suarez could be out on his way from the Catalan club. He’s been made one of the scapegoats of the club’s terrible season which culminated in a shocking 8-2 loss to Bayern Munich in the Champions League quarter-finals.

Barcelona sacked their Quique Setien and appointed former player Ronald Koeman as their new manager.

Suarez is 33 but also one of the most prolific goal-scorers in this decade. His experience and leadership skills will prove to be an invaluable asset to United.

Manager Ole Gunnar Solksjaer is looking to strengthen his squad this summer, with squad ‘depth’ and ‘player quality’ a grave concern for the manager.

Whether Suarez is going to be a part of this rebuild or not is a thought that is going to give nightmares to a Liverpool fan’s mind.
