Manchester United update Jadon Sancho wage deal and Dortmund pressurize Sancho to commit

This transfer season is turning out to be quite a blood bath between Borussia Dortmund and Manchester United.

Dortmund and its agents are not making talks easy, and any deal would be easier if United could negotiate directly with the German club.

Dortmund previously indicated they wanted a deal completed by 1oth August, the time they headed out for their training camp to give them sufficient time to purchase a replacement, and sporting director Michael Zorc says “Sancho will now be staying with the club”.

With personal negotiations with Manchester United at an all-time low, Jadon Sancho has been offered a deal worth up to £190,000-per-week which would mean that the Dortmund forward would have to take a pay cut to join Manchester United.

As reported by the Daily Mail – ‘United’s first contract proposal would have involved Sancho taking a wage cut and their second was similar to the deal he is currently on worth up to £190,000-per-week.’

Despite reports that Man Utd had agreed on terms with Sancho, the Daily Mail add that negotiations to ‘sort out the personal terms element of the deal remain ongoing’.

The report continues by saying that Sancho is ‘not seeking a deal that would break United’s wage structure’ and that it’s ‘the fee remains the major sticking point’.

At a time of further setbacks for the Sancho’s dream on moving back to England, Borussia Dortmund officials are pressuring the English forward to commit his future to the club publically and get involved with the team’s pre-season preparations.

With Sancho reluctant to force his exit and Manchester United having a tough time negotiating with the German club, It looks as if this transfer is gonna drag on for a long long time.
