Manchester United told “take-it-or-leave-it” price by Borussia Dortmund for Jadon Sancho

The Jadon Sancho transfer saga has taken yet another dramatic turn as Borussia Dortmund have handed an ultimatum to Manchester United.

The Red Devils have been interested in the 21-year old for more than a year now.

They are considered to be the front-runners in acquiring his services this summer.

United initially made a £67m (€78m) offer for the England international but that was rejected by the German outfit.

A couple of days ago Sky Sports reported that the Red Devils have improved their bid to £75m (€87m) to entice Dortmund to sell Sancho.

However, talkSPORT claims that the Bundesliga club has placed a non-negotiable asking price of €90m plus add-ons on the player.

The gap between the two bids is just €3m which should be easily settled in the coming days.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has expressed his desire to bolster the squad and it looks like their primary transfer target will soon head to Old Trafford.

Sancho has been an inspiration player for Dortmund in the previous years, scoring 50 goals and 64 assists in 137 appearances.

He can play at any of the attacking positions but Solskjaer may favour him on the right flank.

Surprisingly, the England international is yet to feature for the Three Lions in the ongoing European Championships.

He will be hopeful of getting minutes against Czech Republic in the final group match.

The United boardroom should focus on wrapping up Sancho’s deal as quickly as possible so that they can focus on other summer transfer targets.

Making one marquee signing won’t help Solskjaer build a team that can mount a serious title challenge.
