Manchester United have long seen Jadon Sancho as a potential target to fill the long-lived void on the right-wing. Mason Greenwood’s emergence in recent times has seen him playing on that right-wing berth. However, United need a better option.
Hence, it is still believed that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is eager to bring the 20-year-old English international to Old Trafford during this ongoing summer transfer window.
Several sources across the UK and Europe have now claimed that Manchester United will make a bid this week in what would be their final attempt to grab the signature of the flamboyant winger. The summer transfer market is set to close on 5th October.
One reliable source claimed that Man United will send an official bid this week, and it would obviously contain a significant amount of money.
Another suggested that United are not interested to pay Dortmund’s €120m asking price for Jadon Sancho, but the club has already sorted out his agent fees and personal terms.
According to BBC Sport journalist Howard Nurse, an offer of €90 million-plus various add-ons for Sancho would be “more palatable”.
A widely-renowned transfer guru in Fabrizio Romano tweeted Manchester United need to pay a humongous amount of €120 million transfer fee should they want to seize Sancho’s signature this summer. Otherwise, Dortmund wouldn’t let Sancho go for any cheaper price.
Sancho is the first and fundamental name on the transfer list of Manchester United this summer.
United have made a topsy-turvy start to the season, winning one and losing one in the Premeir League so far.
There is confidence brewing within the Red Devils’ group that needs some new acquisitions before the end of the summer transfer window.
