Manchester United teenage sensation Shea Lacey is training with England’s senior team today

Manchester United teenage sensation Shea Lacey has been spotted training with the England senior team today.

The Red Devils academy graduate is currently with the England under-20s, but Thomas Tuchel has included him, Lakyle Samuel and Harrison Murray-Campbell to join the 22 players in training this morning at St George’s Park.

Lacey has trained with the Red Devils first-team on a couple of occasions, and the 18-year-old winger will be garnering some much-needed experience training with the Three Lions.

It is a testament to his quality and it is safe to say he is close to making his Man United senior debut.

Lacey made his bow for the Red Devils under-21s in August but is already impressing first-team head coach Ruben Amorim and is highly rated by those at the Old Trafford club.

He first trained with the first-team when he was 16, and all eyes are on him following his return from a long-term injury.

It remains to be seen whether Lacey grabbed his chance to impress Tuchel and his staff after getting such a rare opportunity.

He is likely to be invited to another training session if the Three Lions boss is convinced that he has what it takes to keep contributing to the quality available.

It has been reported that Lacey and Jack Fletcher are the closest to breaking into the Man United first-team squad, with the Red Devils stars blown away by the winger.

He has two goals in three Premier League 2 appearances so far this term and will now look to impress on international duty.

The England under-20s will play with their Switzerland counterparts on Friday at St George’s Park National Football Centre, and Lacey is expected to be involved.

Man United will be pleased to see him getting involved with the senior national team and will hope he can keep convincing and proving himself regularly going forward.
