Manchester United have been in the pursuit of Jadon Sancho for a very long time now. The Red Devils are denying to match BVB’s €120m valuation for Sancho and are looking to sign some alternatives.
Now, they can erase one name from that list, with one potential target in Jens Petter Hauge making sure that he won’t join any other club but AC Milan during this later stage of the summer transfer window.
Expressing his interest to play for the Italian giants, Hauge said:
“It’s a club I would like to play for. It’s one of the biggest clubs in the world, I got a taste of both the city and the stadium. I have not been to Maldini’s office but I can confirm that I greeted him.”
Hauge’s contract at Bodo/Glimt is set run out next year. Leeds United were one of the most coveted admirers for the 20-year-old.
The Norway U-21 international has had already made a good expression across Europe with his eye-catching skillset. And Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, being a Norwegian, is believed to have an interest in securing his services.
But, as things stand now, he is off to Italy. On the other hand, United are still considering making a last-ditch bid in an attempt to sign Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund.
