Manchester United wonder kid Amad Diallo has named teammate Paul Pogba as his idol.
The 18-year old signed for the Red Devils last summer and completed his move to Old Trafford this January.
He has featured in eight games for United’s first-team, scoring an important goal against AC Milan in the Europa League.
With that goal, he became the club’s youngest ever non-European goalscorer in the tournament.
In these six months, he has given a glimpse of sumptuous dribbling skills that can threaten any opponent.
In a recent interview, Amad revealed that Pogba’s presence at the club lured him to join United.
He said: “I met him when I was a kid at that trial at Juventus.
“After the session, they asked me who I would like to have a photo with, and I asked for Paul. He was my idol!
“Then, when I received the bid from United and I realised that Paul was here, I didn’t have to think twice and I wanted to come here straight away.
“To be playing with him five years later is incredible.
“I could not possibly ever imagine it happening.
“But these things happen once in a lifetime and, when such occasions come along, you have to seize them.
“To play with Paul five years later is unbelievable, and hard to describe, really.”
Traditionally a winger, Amad can also feature in central positions.
Even at the tender age of 18, he has the skills which can excite fans with the ball at his feet.
However, he still needs to muscle up to cope with the physicality of the Premier League.
To refine his skills and compete for a spot in the starting XI, he will need to put in a lot of time in the gym and during training sessions.
