Transfer Guru Duncan Castle claims in his The Transfer Window podcast with Ian McGarry that Manchester United are linked to 27-year-old Alex Telles.
He then goes on to state that FC Porto have offered their defender Alex Telles to the Red Devils and will be willing to offload him despite his great performances for them in the past honouring the fact that he has only one year left on his contract and the Brazillian isn’t keen to renew it. The Portuguese club does not want Telles to leave for free.
Portuguese outlet A Bola earlier reported that the long-scouted Manchester United target is closer than ever to joining them and FC Porto might be forced to sell him after the COVID economic backlash. The report further tells us that Telles’ entourage are in Manchester to finalise a deal.
Paris Saint Germain & Chelsea FC were also previously linked to the player but both the deals reportedly fell off due to Porto’s fee demands, which now stands at €25m. Chelsea signed Ben Chilwell so they are out of the race, too.
United are also linked to Sergio Reguilon.
