Manchester United are keeping tabs on FC Copenhagen attacking midfielder Roony Bardghji, according to the Sun.
The 18-year-old bagged the winner when his club secured a 4-3 victory over the Red Devils in the group stage of the Champions League last November.
Bardghji has been on the radar of Man United since then, and they sent a scout to watch him in the Atlantic Ocean Cup on Monday.
The teenage sensation notched a beautiful goal as Copenhagen lost 2-1 to Brondby, and the Red Devils will keep watching him ahead of a potential summer swoop.
The Danish champions will face Manchester City in the round of 16 of the Champions League and Man United will run the rule over Bardghji in those fixtures.
They also plan to watch him again on Friday against Molde as they are on the lookout for a right-winger after giving up on Jadon Sancho, who is currently back at Borussia Dortmund on loan.
Bardghji has netted 11 goals in 24 games across all competitions this term and is widely regarded as one of the best youngsters in the Danish top flight.
Copenhagen believe he is worth around £17 million, and they are expected to demand a record fee for the Danish Superliga for him from suitors this summer.
Man United want to sell Sancho, while Anthony Martial is leaving at the end of his contract this summer.
Antony could also be sold having failed to impress since joining from Ajax in 2022, and Bardghji is one of the players on their radar as they look to reinforce their attacking ranks after years of constant struggles.
Man United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe is desperate to turn around the fortunes of the Old Trafford club, and work has started to identify the players capable of taking them to the next level.
