Dalot also had an assist at the end of the night. Making an impressive run down the left hand channel, Dalot received the ball and evaded a tackle to put a pinpoint cross into the box for Rafael Leao to tap into the net.
The Portuguese left back also entered the score sheet in the 66th minute of the game. He made a very clever run behind the defense to receive a through ball from Ismail Bennacer and calmly wrapped his foot around it to finish past the keeper.
Diogo Dalot received the man of the match for his performance.
The Portuguese joined AC Milan on a straight season-long loan from Manchester United. Italian Transfer mogul Fabrizio Romano also confirmed that there is no clause in his contract which gives AC Milan an option to buy.
