United play their second European semi-final in four years – against the team which knocked them out of Europe a couple of seasons ago. Sevilla were underdogs then and are underdogs now, as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Reds have been in fine form since the restart.
Solskjaer makes two changes from the side that defeated Copenhagen with David De Gea and Victor Lindelof coming in for Sergio Romero and Eric Bailly. Neither change is hardly surprising as both are up the pecking order. The one surprise comes in midfield where Fred gets the nod ahead of Nemanja Matic. The Serb is the glue that holds everything together for United but Solskjaer has gone for the mobility of Fred.
Upfront, everything is the same. Solskjaer will expect his big hitters in Bruno Fernandes, Mason Greenwood, Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial to come up with the goods once again – with Paul Pogba supplying them.
