Manchester United are monitoring Eintracht Frankfurt forward Omar Marmoush’s situation ahead of a potential move, according to Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg.
The Red Devils have been linked with a loan move for Paris Saint-Germain striker Randal Kolo Muani ahead of the January transfer window.
However, United are reportedly more interested in signing the Egyptian international.
There is nothing concrete at the moment as far as the interest in Marmoush is concerned, but that could change going forward.
The club could look to sign attacking reinforcements in January if Joshua Zirkzee and Rasmus Hojlund have shown no signs of improvement by then.
Marmoush has bagged 14 goals and ten assists in 17 games across all competitions this term after ending last term with 12 league goals and six assists. He has also been linked with Liverpool and Arsenal.
Man United could do with his productivity in the attacking third during the second half of the season,
However, Frankfurt are unwilling to sell him in January and have slapped a €50 million price tag on his head ahead of next summer.
Man United need quality finishers to become a force to be reckoned with again.
Ruben Amorim has to decide whether Marmoush fits into his project and playing style before a transfer decision can be made.
