Manchester United are in advanced talks over a new front-of-shirt sponsorship with Qualcomm, according to the Athletic.
The Red Devils have been searching for a new front-of-shirt sponsor since TeamViewer announced in 2022 that it did not intend to renew its deal with them.
Man United reached a five-year agreement worth £47m per year with the Germany-based software firm in 2021.
TeamViewer and the Old Trafford club reached an agreement that provided the Red Devils with the option to buy back the rights to their front-of-shirt sponsorship.
Both parties are now moving on, with the deal with Qualcomm expected to commence in time for 2024-25.
Man United are targeting a deal that would see them earn £60m per year with the North American technology company.
They already have a working relationship as the club announced a deal in August 2022 to promote Qualcomm’s subsidiary brand Snapdragon.
United States car manufacturer Chevrolet were the club’s front-of-shirt sponsors before TeamViewer in a £64m-per-season deal, and another American firm will now become their next sponsor.
Manchester City currently boast the most expensive shirt sponsorship in the Premier League as they rake in £67.5m per year from Etihad.
Liverpool make £50m per year from their deal with Standard Chartered, with Arsenal next on the list with their new £50m-per-year deal with Emirates.
Man United are set to surpass both the Reds and Gunners with their new deal, and it could be a five-year deal which would earn them a whopping £300m in total.
