Manchester United have been offered the chance to sign Juventus winger Federico Chiesa, Jadon Sancho could be swapped with him

Juventus have offered Manchester United the chance to sign attacking midfielder Federico Chiesa this summer.

However, manager Erik ten Hag is taking his time to think about the approach, according to Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Fabiana della Valle.

The Italy international has repeatedly been linked with United this summer, but nothing concrete has happened until now.

New Juve manager Thiago Motta does not see Chiesa as a regular player in his team and is open to letting him go before the 2024-25 campaign starts.

Man United could have a solution for them as Jadon Sancho remains out of their plans, and the Old Lady have the 24-year-old on their radar.

However, Juve can only sign the forward on loan due to his wages or land him in exchange for Chiesa in a swap deal.

The Italian was one of the best players for his country at the European Championship, featuring in all four games before Switzerland eliminated them in the last 16.

Chiesa ended 2023-24 with ten goals and three assists in 37 games across all competitions.

Having the 26-year-old as an option would be huge for the Red Devils, but Ten Hag must make a decide whether he wants him.

The Dutchman has all but secured the services of Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee, but he still wants to further bolster his attacking ranks, and Chiesa fits the profile of the type of player he wants.
